Introduction

Where are all my ADHD and Bipolar 2 girlies at? Is your mind always on autopilot, chasing one exciting idea after another, only to realize six months down the road that you've landed somewhere you never actually wanted to be? Oh hey, me too. You are not alone.

Five months ago, I sold my house and was ready to move to Mexico—yet another decision made in a manic high, fueled by the fantasy of what life could be. And so, I went. I spent over a month there, only to realize that Mexico was more of a dream I had built up in my head rather than a place where I truly belonged. So… now what?
Cue my ex-boyfriend.

We started spending every minute together, and before I knew it, his roommates had moved out, and I had moved in. At the time, I felt confident, free, aligned. What could go wrong? Well, everything happened fast, and I was just along for the ride. Deep down, I knew I was repeating an old pattern, much like in my past relationship. I poured my energy (and money) into redecorating his home, making it our space, investing in a future I hadn't even thought through.

And then, once everything settled… I realized I had made a huge mistake.

I had gained weight. I had become co-dependent. I had stopped taking care of myself, my creativity, my business. I lost my independence. My confidence evaporated. Some days, I couldn’t even get off the couch, let alone socialize. And now, sitting here, I have to face the truth: This relationship drained me. I have so much self-doubt. I am questioning everything. I jumped into this mess—so how can I ever trust myself again?

Breaking the Cycle of Self Doubt

That question led me straight to my tarot deck. And not in a good way. I was tarot scrolling—you know, when you keep pulling cards over and over, hoping for a different answer? My reader, Trish, calls it "doom scrolling but with tarot." But here’s the thing: tarot is a guide, not a magic answer machine. It reflects the current energies, but we decide what happens next. Life isn’t happening to me—it’s happening for me. And part of my confidence is still here, waiting to be reclaimed.

I know I am naturally curious, sharp, and adaptable. My confidence has always been tied to exploring, asking questions, and discovering new possibilities. I just have to bring that version of myself back to life.

The Plan: Rebuilding Confidence One Step at a Time

So, how do I start feeling like me again?

First, self-care is non-negotiable.
I need sunshine. I need water. I need positive energy. I need creative projects and meaningful connections. An immediate step? Reinvesting in myself. Not just physically, but in ways that help me feel confident again.

  • Gym, nails, massage, skincare— all the self-care!

  • Moving my body— not just for how I look, but for how I feel.

  • Surrounding myself with the right energy— people who inspire and uplift me.

But here’s the real challenge: sustaining confidence in the long run.

If you’re anything like me, you go all in—full-speed ahead—only to burn out just as fast. So this time, I’m taking a different approach. No more quick-fix highs followed by inevitable crashes. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in a cycle of self-doubt, this is your reminder: self-care is crucial. Not just the spa-day kind, but the deep, emotional kind. The kind that requires boundaries, self-reflection, and a commitment to your own well-being before pouring into others.

The Biggest Takeaway

If you lost your confidence because life moved too fast and left you ungrounded, you are not broken. You are still the same curious, intelligent, and resilient person you’ve always been. That part of you never left.

Healing, hope, and self-care will guide you forward.
Consistency will sustain your confidence.
And your emotions? They need attention.

Prioritize you. Set boundaries with anything—or anyone—that drains you. You deserve to feel empowered again. And I promise, we’re in this together.
